Write a song today.  Try it.  What else you gonna do today that is as exciting as writing your own song.  Go in the kitchen.  Get out all the pots and pans.  Grab the spoons and make some noise.  Get that old guitar out of the basement and put some new strings on it.

Sing like you have not since High School.  See if you can even sing in tune any more.  Sing from your heart.  Play like you got some damn soul left in ya.

Write a song today.  I know you can do it.   It will probably make today one of the most memorable and special days you have had in a long time.  Be creative.  Just do it.  You know you want to.

Make the kids help.  Dance with your wife.  ROCK THAT SHIT.

If you want it, what is stopping you.  Get your ass in the shower and SING man.  Sing to the cat.  HOWL with the DOG.  Keep the beat with the rain.  Listen to the world around you and feel the beats.
